Upon completing all the necessary paperwork with the SEC and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the association applied for registration as a non-stock, non-profit corporation and was officially granted the status of DAVAO CITY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOC., INC. (DCNHSAAI) on November 23, 2016, as evidenced by SEC’s Certificate of Incorporation No. CN201627352 and the BIR Certificate of Registration No 2RC000111414. With the acquisition of legal personality, the Association commenced soliciting contributions and donations, as well as making donations in line with its stated objectives and purposes as a non-stock, non-profit Corporation under Section 30 of the National Internal Revenue Code and as outlined in the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws of the Association. During President Babiera’s term, the Association achieved recognition as a pioneer team and provider of start-up funds.

Brigadier General Leoncio A. Cirunay Jr. succeeded President Felizardo A. Enriquez Jr. as President of the Association in 2023. He is fortunate to inherit substantial funds from the two former Presidents, which are more than sufficient to establish a more dynamic, globally interactive, and efficient Association. To achieve this vision, a website was developed and is expected to be fully operational by June 1, 2024. The website features a registration portal for alumni members, which was launched during the graduation rehearsals of the Batch 2024 Senior High students with successful registration. It is currently undergoing enhancements to increase interactivity, provide more information, and is now open to all alumni registrations.
